This is a quote by Gary L. Francione, professor of law and philosophy and a well-known American animal rights abolitionist. I’ve attended an inspiring speech by him and find him to be a contemporary powerful voice for the animals.
Since I’ve been little I admired the beauty and the calmness of cows. Even though they’re big, cows endure a lot (e.g. bad treatment) without fighting back. They’re forgiving, bighearted and simply amiable, as I think.
